Saturday afternoon at 5pm, my father come home from his
work. Likewise, he sit at the side of the window while drinking his coffee. 6pm
in the evening, my father called my brother.
"Please buy a drinks and two pieces of ice" tatay
said.
My brother buy a drinks and tatay prepared our dinner
before he drink. 20 minutes later, uncle together with his KUMPARE came at
home. They drink together. The one bottle of drink is adding by tatay's
KUMPARI. While my father was busy with his KAINUMAN, my mother was bothering in
our clothes and my brother was answering in his assignment and me, I go to bed.
9pm in the evening while I'm lying in my bed, the dog was
barking loudly.
"Sssshh! Quite!" tatay said.
The dog stop barking but tatay was doubtful so that he
watched the grounds and didn't saw anything.
Exactly 11pm, my father decided to go to his bed because he
already drunk. And I prepared my bed too.
1am in the morning, I'm wakeful because I can't sleep
caused the dog barking consistently and also the dog of our neighbors. I'm
peeking in the he window but I didn't saw any person. I go back in my bed and I
sleep while the dog was still barking.
In the morning, nanay and tatay was sad when they seen the
KULUNGAN of the chicken that empty and also our ducks was lost. And my father
go to the kitchen, he saw the KAWALI and our knifes was lost. That time, our
kitchen wasn't done that's why they get it easily. According to my mother, she
go out in the house three times to go to comfort room and she said that the dog
was barking at that time. And she imagined that KAWATAN saw her. "What if
I saw them while they getting the chickens. What if they hurt me?" nanay
said with teary eye. "And thanks God, it is not happened" I said.
Our neighbos heard the news and after that when the dog was
barking, we can't ignored it to prevent the MANAKAWAN again.
